NYCC 2026 runs Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11 at the Javits Center, and 13 comic, manga and collectibles shops sit within 3.5 miles of the show floor. This game plan tells you which one to hit for what, when to go and how to get there.

Which Shop to Hit for What

Walking into the wrong shop can cost you an hour of con time. Match the stop to what you collect.

Back issues and keys

Start at Midtown Comics Times Square, 200 W 40th St. It's the closest dedicated comic shop and stocks back issues next to the week's releases.

Montasy is on the second floor of 431 5th Ave. ComicConnect sits on the 6th floor of 36 W 37th St, so phone before you go up. In the West Village, Bleecker Trading buys, sells and trades.

Bring a short want list with the lowest grade you'll take for each book. Stock turns over fast con week, and a tight list gets you a quick yes or no at the counter.

CGC drop-off near NYCC

Manga, figures and cards

Manga Spot and Tommy's Figz share the Turnstyle Underground Market at Columbus Circle, about 1.2 miles out. Toy Tokyo, at 91 2nd Ave, is the East Village stop for designer pieces. For cards, Dave & Adam's at 1350 Broadway handles sports, and J&L Game at 1026 6th Ave is the TCG pick.

When to Go During NYCC 2026

The best shop window during NYCC 2026 opens after the show floor closes.

Before doors. A stop on the way in only works if the shop opens before you need to be in line. Check its hours the night before.

After the floor closes. That's 7 PM Thursday through Saturday. Foot traffic near the Javits spikes all week, so the books on the wall Thursday night may be gone by Saturday. Hunting something specific? Go early in the week.

Sunday. The floor shuts at 5 PM, two hours earlier than the other days. It's the easiest afternoon for a long shop run.

Getting There From the Javits Center

One subway line connects the Javits to three of these shops.

The 34 St–Hudson Yards station on the 7 is a block from the Javits. Ride one stop east to Times Sq–42 St for Midtown Comics Times Square. Two more stops, 5 Av and Grand Central–42 St, put you near Montasy and Midtown Comics Grand Central.

Walking works too. Midtown Comics Times Square is about 20 minutes on foot. From there, Montasy, ComicConnect, J&L Game and Dave & Adam's all sit between 35th and 40th Streets, close enough for one loop.

For Forbidden Planet and Toy Tokyo, take the 7 to Times Sq–42 St and switch to a downtown N, Q, R or W to 14 St–Union Sq. Weekend service changes are common, so check the MTA site first. The Javits Center site lists entrances and drop-off points.

Before You Leave for the Javits

Hit Midtown Comics Times Square first, save the shop runs for after 7 PM, and give Sunday to the shops farther out. Hours change during con week, and our listings can't catch every change.
